I turn a big 43 on Dec 1st and am giving myself the gift of a b-day month challenge in 2 parts.
Part 1: Workout every day-no excuses even if that means running at 10 pm.
Part 2: No alcohol, my friends and family (and myself) enjoy our cocktail hour but im pretty sure its the one thing that keeps from reachin my fitness goals.
5 days so far and I feel awesome.

Ch-ch-ch changes
Over the past year ive made some pretty significant physical changes as far as weight loss and taking my sports performance to the next level. The next set of changes seem to be my mental approach to eating.
Im becoming mindful that food (and drink) based experiences are not the thing that makes me truly happy.
Ive been excercising my ability to quantify what behaviors make me truly happy.

Lunch Ride
Ive been Road Biking a lot this year, ive ridden road bikes since I was about 16 and have always liked it but this year I fell in love with it.
Did a lunchtime ride along the San Francisco Bay Trail in very warm weather today. Took some video with a handlebar mounted HD camera Ill post some of that once its edited.
